At this point, in Kansas City, we're on a record pace for snow and getting more later today. Oh - we're setting overnight low records also. You're welcome to take some of this wherever you are.

Re: Post pictures taken with your TP2 good or bad
I took this picture at a Taylor Swift concert I went to this past fall. I had only had my tp2 for about a week before this and this happen to be the first time I used it so all the settings were left untouched. I even discovered afterward that the photo quality was set to fine and not super fine but the pictures in my opinion turned out pretty nice considering it was dark and all |

Pic taken yesterday. I cant remember the last time i fiddled with the settings. Most people i show my pics to think my photos aren't too bad.

The only way of determining the best settings for yourself is to take some photos under different conditions that you can later duplicate .. then alter one parameter at a time (start with sharpness) and then go and take the same photos again. That way, you're comparing apples with apples. It's not going to help you to compare an out-of-focus indoor close-up with a long distance outside scene. Just for clarity, the different conditions that you should use in your test are: indoors with different lighting conditions, outdoors, macro (close-up), etc. And above all, keep your hands steady when you take a shot! Many of the pics posted in this threadare poor primarily because the camera was moving when the pic was taken. Under poor lighting, the camera will be even more sensitive to handshake. So don't be too shy to lean against something like a railing or a tree or wall under such conditions.Hope this helps |
