Re: Question about the keyboard sliding

if the plastic was meant to be part of the design wouldnt that be a little cheap, I mean come on, if I saw a phone with clear plastic strips all over it I wouldnt even think about getting one, to me it looked annoying and was a no brainer they were only for packaging, just like the one on the back of the phone screen.....lol

maybe I could make some new ones with designs and sell them to people who think they should be there.... Like flames or tribal designs or some shlt.....lol hmmmmmm imma try it...

Ditto what everyone else has already said, part of the packaging, safe to remove.

Re: Question about the keyboard sliding

Remove them if you want.

However, many users including myself have gotten scratches in that area after we removed it.

Re: Question about the keyboard sliding

Had my TP2 since early August, and both strips were fine until this week when one of them came unstuck and started rolling up when the keyboard opened. I pulled it off but damn, that's good packaging.

I've seen what a lot of you are referring to before where you simply pull out the plastic "protection" strip between two surfaces, but for the one I removed just now it was not simply slid in there as if you were meant to just pull it off. I had to tug at it to get it to come off completely.

Personally I think they are on there as a basic measure of 'rub protection / easier sliding', but with an understanding that they are a cheap solution that will inevitably come off over time, and with no detriment to the sliding mechanism -other than some surface scratches that would now start to appear. Just my $0.02.

No... It's not bad... but I think if you make an assumption about someone's inteligence level being related to their weight... Well then you must be ugly.
