Sudden Black screen

Dont know what happened but suddenly and without reason my TP2 suddenly has a blank, black screen. Take the battery out, put it back in nothing. Soft reset, nothing. If its plugged in and I double tap the power button it restarts, sprint load screen then black screen.

What the hell just happened, how do i fix this?

I just got this in the mail yesterday from Asurion...

Looked like a brand spanking new TP2. I am going to leave the battery out for a long time and see if that helps. Then try a hard reset...

Any other ideas? Do you think I should call Asurion back or Sprint?

I am trying to hard rest but not having any luck. You hold the phone, end, and power key in then hit the reset right?

Wow this is really unbelievable. Phone breaks get replacement. Spent last day customizing, seriously just set it down and was done and now its not working.

Would any program cause this? I installed remote tracker program today...

Yea that is your best bet...a hard reset will not fix it...probably shipped you a bad refurb....you can always check the refub status by pressing ##786#....refurb status should say "NO" ....

BTW Hard reset......with power off hold TALK/END and power button simutaneously....wait for on screen instrcutions.....follow on screen instructions
