there have been a few cases when the battery that was sent with your phone was not a good battery to begin with. i would suggest that you take your phone back your cell phone provider and let them know your battery is draining way to quickly and they should replace it.
I installed s2u2 from thread here. phew! I especially like the Stargate puddlejumper wallpaper! Will keep an eye on battery, thanks for heads up.

Re: Sprint TP2 Poor Battery Life

Im gonna have to concur on the Good thing to life Clean up cab but I would do a hard reset first and there are 2 other cabs that will give you better battery life the no push internet can (as stated before) and the Dynamic resource cab.

You can find them here.

Polling that your talking about has nothing to do with the internet.

Re: Sprint TP2 Poor Battery Life

I think it depends on how you use it...I three push email accounts on I have push internet on two sites, one for every hour and one every 6 hours...I listen to online radio to and from work, hour each way...talk anywhere from 90min to 120min or more talk time on Bluetooth and my battery last from 7:30am when I take it off the charger to about 3pm to 5pm...That’s some heavy usage. my touch pro didn’t even last to 1pm with very light conservative usage

but on the weekends I just talk a lot on my phone and on a single battery I can get from Saturday morning at 8am to Sunday afternoon

I have two batteries and I always do a full drain before charging, so a lot of times I can go to full days without charging...so there must be something wrong with your battery or phone...take it back and exchange it, and if they give you a hard time with it then call tech support, they have to exchange it

Go here find the one you need, download it, save it to your mem card open it and it will do the rest.
