Re: Plugging in 3.5mm headphones randomly calls my last contact

Are you guys on the stock rom? This happened to me a lot on the stock rom. It has not happened since I flashed to a custom rom. I'm currently using the latest Mighty with no issues.

lou2004- do you have a custom taskbar installed? If so, remove it & you should have no more problems with losing sound.

Re: Plugging in 3.5mm headphones randomly calls my last contact

I too am having this issue. It is absolutely annoying. I would love to use this phone for multimedia as well, but stupid stuff like this keeps me from doing it.

Anybody with a solution?

Seriously, Microsoft is really making it difficult for me to keep buying their phones. I was very tempted to sell this thing and just get a Droid.

Re: Plugging in 3.5mm headphones randomly calls my last contact

I have not had this happen once with my headphones. I use them all the time, even for navigation when riding my motorcycle.

And for the person that asked if the USB port works for headphones, yes it does. I've tried the touch pro adapter.

Re: Plugging in 3.5mm headphones randomly calls my last contact

I just received a replacement Verizon TP2 after my last started freaking out, and I am now having this same issue. The voice command is randomly activating and calling people. Does anyone have a solution to this issue?

Re: Plugging in 3.5mm headphones randomly calls my last contact

This happened to me last weekend. I was listening to music and I rotated the headphone connection and I heard the chirp for Voicecommand. I had already disabled it after I flashed my ROM. Then it began dialing the last person I had called.

That was very awkward because it was 3AM and he was wondering why I woke him up :P
