th question you asked became soiled whenu were only speaking of hdspl there is no charge forhat theres a licencing system they're trying to create rad postbefore asking a question ....

Cmonex has stated in another thread (i believe 2 days ago) that hspl is free as well as the sim unlocker, but there will be a licensed attached to the sim unlocker so that someone cannot try and sell the unlocker on their own. Everyone will be able to download the unlockers and use them on their devices but only the hspl can be used multiple times without having to get a new license and paying a fee rumored to be around $20. This is the reason it is taking longer to release because they have to set up a server that can deal with the licensing and since this will be the first unlocker they have done this way, they have to figure out how to set it up and make sure that everything is working properly so that when we can download they don't get flooded with pm's and posts about errors downloading or not being able to unlock.

It is a good point but if that is how they want to do it, thats the way it will be. They always have the option of choosing to not release it at all.

Basically the problem is the Business aspect of the whole deal. I sell unlock codes, and i understand the potential of capital gain here. The Hspl is free and everyone know's it. The simunlock on the other hand is very handy, its only available to people that made prior donations,or the ones willing to pay the 20 dollarst a pop. And at 20 a pop, i wouldnt want people to be able to use them multiple times, u get two chances, then you have to pay like everyone else. Well why not just make a seperate package available on the Elite Team Webpage and whom ever is interested in a simunlock they can go ahead and purchase it.This way there is no confusion, No frustration. And the Free HSPL remains free, and everyone is appreciative of all the hard work that goes into preparing the HSPL......

It's very simple...they want more donations. If that weren't the case, they'd have already released the HSPL.

Ya well my point is i guess that is all the other hspls were released with no license they should release only the cdma hspl and not the sim unlocker until they figure out this problem with the licensing.

How would that help? The CDMA HSPL is going to use licensing as well

The HSPLs for older devices were released with no licensing, and they were sold, hence why the licensing came about
