The 1-877-293-0807 worked for me. $16.99 + $7.00 shipping. You have to be persistent. The first time I was told to call PCD. They do not handle repairs for Sprint anymore. Called HTC back and talked to a guy named Chad. He knew what I was talking about and took my order and we were done in less than 5 min.

It seems like it might be possible to peel off the lining on the inside of the battery cover that gives the orange color in the holes in the design. You could then maybe use a sharpie or permanent marker and color it black or whatever color you like. Has anyone tried that? You could even remove the liner permanently which would make the design look mostly black but then the inside and battery wouldn't have any protection from water or dust. Seidio has an extended battery cover....

HTC will sell the factory replacement covers. It takes a few for shipping, bought the video out cable from them and it took 2 months
