Been working with no issues at all. Must be something else you have installed. I have not even reset my phone for over a week.

Re: Mobile Shell 3.5 Unstable on Stock Sprint TP2?
MS 3.5 owns. It is way smoother than tf3d and is more customizable.... My phone looks the way I want. I love the functionality. It's weird because i despised the look of ms 3.0. Though the customization was lame etc..
I've done a 180 with this app. |

Re: Mobile Shell 3.5 Unstable on Stock Sprint TP2?
I did not have any lockups, but it did run a bit slow to my liking. Transitions were not very smooth and shortcuts pictures don't show up immediately. I tried both with 3D on or off. Seems that 3.5 runs slower then 3.1.

Re: Mobile Shell 3.5 Unstable on Stock Sprint TP2?
No lockups, it's actually pretty smooth. But I'm definitely having the same issues that other people are having with the HTC Rhodium/Topaz Dialer. So when you're on the phone dialer screen you can't press contacts or some of the buttons. Also the rhodium notifications screen, when you get an email, you can't press to open whatever notification you've gotten. I've tried second today and ms toggler to go around that, but it doesn't seem to work with me.
Still, I've decided to stay with MS 3.5 because I still have the issues using PointUI and Touchflo 3d is just way to cumbersome to customize. I don't need the notifications because SPB shows all your notifications on the home page, and so far, I haven't had to use my contacts screen while on a call. I know I will, but it's not every time. |

Re: Mobile Shell 3.5 Unstable on Stock Sprint TP2?
I had some initial problems when I first installed it, OVER 3.1. I completely uninstalled 3.1 (using resco file explorer), then reinstalled just 3.5. Been working better ever since!
It is a bit slower than 3.1, but I do like the customizatins so much better than TF, that I put up with it...I hope a future TF version allows "widgets", especially for contacts, and I will go back... I also wish you could "widgetize" the stock and weather tab (although I do use Weather Panel)...that would be sweet!

Re: Mobile Shell 3.5 Unstable on Stock Sprint TP2?
Wow thanks everyone for the quick replies, I have Sashimi that installs over 30 other cabs I guess i need to start one by one and see what the kicker app is that is killing ms 3.5 for me.
Its strange seems like I Also randomly loose my nice HTC menu's and I get the default ones from microsoft. Also my Notifications sreen sometimes does not display and instead i can idivually select the icons funtions Volume, data, etc. Hopefully my phone isn't f'd up! Since getting this phone I have gone through hell trying to get all my TP1 apps to play nice. I cant wait for a custom rom! Fix that Lic Server Elite TEAM! lol |
