Re: anybody using TV out???
I get a small amount of blue flicker running my SlingBox on my Eclipse 7" DVD/NAV screen in my truck. It doesn't seem to do it all the time & it's certainly no deal killer but it can be annoying at times.
I use the Expansys cable with no mods & the picture is perfect on the phone when the flicker occurs. The only other time it flickers is using coreplayer & QTV video, but I never use CP anymore as Album/WMP gives better playback (true hardware accelleration) of my h.264 DVD rips. ~John |

Re: anybody using TV out???
Ditto with the flicker here. Running out to Pioneer 7500 and 7800.

Re: anybody using TV out???
Dunno if OP sorted out his problem or not, but, if you are making the home-made wire, you need to A. Cut the correct wire inside, which I believe is blue, I don't have one around me to check. And B. when plugging it into the TV, switch around the colors and plug them into each others holes, such as audio cable into video jack, etc. Different wires make different combos you have to do. If you put it in wrong it'll just show black and white, so experiment. That's how it worked on the TP at least, I haven't tried on the TP2.
Just to let you know though, t-mobile stores sell the video out cable for 20$, and the wires are compatible with any carriers model, in case you'd rather not buy online. |

Re: anybody using TV out???
If you are using Core Player, change the video output setting from "QTv" to "Raw Frame Buffer". I find it gives pretty smooth playback (not as smooth as QTv) WITHOUT any blue flicker.
