Great point and most of the people that voted yes are probably with sprint and you wonder why the hell we pay so much more than the competitors for the same damn phone and why our deductables are now $100. Everybody needs to just chill out, after all this I wish the elite team just didn't accept donations and just charge everybody a flat fee to download the unlocker, then we will see how many people would be complaining then.

Yup, I am 100% sure that everyone who is willing to "test" is not goign to plunk 500+ bucks for a new phone. Not only they think that elite team owes them something, they also think that carrier needs to pay for beta testing. Pathetic.

And when they cant get a replacement from their carrier they start bashing the carrier or calling retentions trying to get something for nothing, all because they couldn't wait a few extra days and bricked their device using a pre-release unlocker.

Of course. Then you will see new polls going up on "who thinks <carrier> sucks!". And people with real problems can't get a warranty exchange because TP2 is out of stock since some dumb a**es bricked their phones and ran to exchange them.

why do you think it will brick my device if it did not brick ELITE teams devices? If i get the spl , i wont just flash it, i will dissassemble is first to see what is changed, and if it will brick my device.

Even if it will brick my device, i can always revive my device using JTAG, if i will have to.
I will be upgrading to IPHONE or STORM2 anyways since telus will be getting those in novemember.

Why in the world would you "Upgrade" to an iPhone or Storm 2? If anything the only Upgrade I would want to do is if the HD2 comes to the US.. That is an upgrade.

Voicing your opinion is one thing but b*tch1ng and complaining is something else and thats basically what these forums have turned into. I would even tolerate if we had one stickied thread just for complaining but everybody wants to open their own thread complaining about the same damn thing and it is getting old.
