Wait, so maybe I'm a jerk or maybe I'm just confused. A metric crap-ton of people in this community donated money to the Elite team to buy them a TP2 to unlock. Elite team keeps the TP2, and afaik, keeps the extra cash too. I think that makes them atleast a little bit responsible for keeping this community up to date on their progress, and it darn sure makes them responsible to try their best to actually unlock the device. Anything less is a breach of trust and ethics beyond what PPCgeeks or XDA has seen. I don't think the Elite team is going to go down this road - they've got a pretty long history of being awesome people - however the thought that they don't owe us anything is a bit far fetched.

That being said, I can't give enough thanks to people like them. Smart computer-scientists like them who helped to unlock my 6700, Mogul and TP made those devices bearable. The stock rom on my Sprint TP2 isn't bad, but I'm sure that hte custom ones will be much, much better. These roms wouldn't be possible without their hard work and dedication. Thanks guys!

A huge thanks to the Elite Team in Advance , of course. If you developed the unlocker for the TP1, The Mogul, And the old 6600, then MANY thinks many times over to you or whomever did those.. Sounds like we all are taking time out of are lives concerning this particular unlocker, so we understand the need for time for other things in life too.I imagine many of our wives and children would be thankful for this release also
