Not to start a fight here, but didn't you say you were not a lawyer in your post above? If your not, you probably don't want to assume anything when it comes to law......

if it has been said that the hold up is with a server license then i would imagine there is nothing she can do. just wait for the license, which would be out of her hands


if the unlocker is not done, then yeah it would help if she had more time to work on it... she may also have things to do outside of this.. if she happens to be off work and free to do her things.

May be just a phone to you, but I as a professional my phone is my lifeline. Unlocking the phone and getting the full potential out of it since the carriers lock a lot of features down is the reason I want to unlock mine and flash my own ROM to it. Plus custom ROMs are generally more stable than the carrier ROMs with all their bloatware installed...

Yeah, you are absolutely right, eman. I'm just going on past experiences and how the big guns have handled issues. I hope I'm wrong if this does come to be.....really, really hope I'm wrong.

LOL, if it's your "lifeline" as you state, the last thing you should be worried about is unlocking & modifying it.

It's not like the phones don't function just fine the way they come out of the box........

isnt it possible to release a timed beta version of the unlocker until a license issue is fixed. This way you could flash the phone for a few days before the unlocker expired, thus enabling the ones not doing mass numbers of phones to flash our phones , and still keep the ones who intend to turn a profit from using this software from being able to do so
