Thanks. Yeah, I did get them to give me a tp2 for 125, even though it wasn't "the primary line" therefore it wasn't suppose to get the NE2 deal. I technically get it for 24, because I have 20% off through work, but I saw that and thought I would ask. Thanks for the info.

Sorry for such a noob question but with the SIM card, would this give me dual lines on the VZW TP2?
I have a family share plan and work is asking me to carry another cell phone (which I don't want to carry 2 phones). So if I went the route of Unlocked SIM, could they set me up on a prepaid AT&T account and have a 2nd phone number on my TP2?

Biggest reason for this question is that Company restricts TXT/MMS on there accounts. On my family share plan, I have unlimited txt/mms and the data plan so I can txt/mms and such to all. If I were to jump to company plan, I loose TXT/MMS as they block them.

yes u could have two number on the device but only one connected at a time

Then is there a way two have 2 numbers active on TP2 at one time (all be it 2 CDMA or 1 CDMA and 1 GSM)?

The issue would be that I would want calls to come in on either line.

None of those options are a possibility. You can have two phone numbers assigned to one SIM card, but both the carrier and the phone have to support it.

So if CDMA is VZW and GSM Sim is ATT, I could not get calls on either one?

Both being active accounts?

Or is it due to the fact that CDMA is first choice for serivce and if not found, it then looks for GSM meaning that if in a CDMA coverage area, I am not going to get GSM calls? Even if the phone is set to Auto or Global?

u could have in cdma activated number and one sim activated number but they will not work at the same time !! buy the strictest sence if u left the phone in global mode and left cdma service the phone would change over to gsm mode!! but never on this phone two numbers active on the device at the same time!!
