There's another post regarding this issue. I think you are hit or miss with that one. I use Motorola S9 HD bluetooth headphones and I can power down the screen just fine. But others can't with their headset. I also use hard wired headphones and they work great. My only suggestion would be to try other headsets if you have that luxury. If you are really liking your own though this might not be an option and you will have to keep looking.

The ones that can't maybe don't know that the audio and voice are two seperate options to toggle on and off?
