Verizon removing corporate discounts

Verizon is going thru corporate discount accounts and removing the 20% FEATURE DISCOUNT on the Email and Web for Smartphone data plan. I've had this discount for about 8 months, but they say I received it in error. Apparently, feature discounts only apply when the secondary line is $39.99 monthly or more.

But I was offered this discount and switched my plan for a grandfathered $20 unlimited data plan because the rep said I was eligible. Even worse, the discount still shows online when I add/remove features. So I did it while the rep was on the phone, and she said she saw the discount applied but said it would be removed by the end of the day. If I was an unknowing customer, they would simply tell me $24 confirmation, then change it to $29 at the end of the day?

I have the family plan for 700 mins for $60. I get 22% off the $60 from corporate and also 20% off my $30 data plan. This is what was reflected on my bill I got yesterday.

So either my plan dollar amount is too high to be downgraded or they haven't found me yet.

I have also received 22% off the main line and 20% off the data plan for more than a year and a half now with a corporate discount.... I would be substantially upset to see them removed ;( enough so to cancel service if necessary...

Do either of you have Data on secondary lines? Primary lines won't be effected.

This was also reflected on the bill I got yesterday, but was removed for the upcoming month, and I was charged $29.99.

This constitutes a breach of contract; mistake or not. Use it against them. Harshly.

I was just told that I would recieve a 20% discount on it when I bought this phone in September. I will go ape **** if they take it away. I mean I guess its only like 7 bucks but still. If they touch the 22% on my entire plan, I'll kill em.

hey guys i work for the vzw and this is the 1st i have herd of this. the only way verizon can remove this discount is when it is time for the company you work for to renew there contract with there discount with verizon. but when a discount profile is set up typically its set up that verizon will offer %X off the bill and %x off data for how ever long bc your company has x amount of lines with us. im pretty sure thats actually a contracted thing so it cant just be removed
