Re: Verizon removing corporate discounts

I'm thinking that finally the PPC is getting popular with verizon and everyone and their family is using data, Verizon is out to get more money from their user.

You can put it this way: Since we(Verizon) didn't cripple the smartphones/PPC this time , we gonna change your data plan and charge you more. tsk...tsk.. just a thought.

Re: Verizon removing corporate discounts

I have my TP2 on my main line on my family share, and for the month of October I still received a 15% discount through my company for both data and minutes.

I said the same thing. How can they just remove the discount? The rep said that had an offline team that did this and my account was noted with a reason for the removal. Check out the link to xda, you can see other people are running into the same issue.

This shouldnt be a problem for anyones primary line. Only secondary

Re: Verizon removing corporate discounts

I have an 8% discount through work and it was still applied to both plan and data on both lines of my account for the last bill and I didn't receive any notice that they were removed, but I probably won't know for sure until closer to the next billing cycle.

Once again it depends on what the company agreed to when they agreed to a discount with verizon . if the discount states that data discounts only appy to lines spending 34.99 or higher then yes ur discount would be pulled if u were an ad a line. the profile discount that is agreed to by verizon and the company cant be changed enless the company agrees to it

I agree that I wasn't eligible, but then they shouldn't have offered it to me so I changed my plan. And most definitely, once it was on the account, they shouldn't have removed it. Also, it's past midnight and the discount hasn't been removed. Hopefully, I'll be able to keep re-adding it via My Verizon and my account won't come up for review again for a while.

No, it doesn't.

And as richards108 has pointed it, a discount should only be removed in one of two scenarios:

1. The company changes their agreement with VZW and resigns a contract that changes the discount

2. The discount was improperly added to a secondary line, where it shouldn't have been in the first place.
