Re: Seidio Innocase ETA

As a word fo warning... the cases for the Verizon Touch Pro 2 from naked cellphone are junk. I receive the case today and I'm really disappointed in the quality. The only way it would ever come close to staying on the phone is if I used glue. $15 down the toilet as they only have an exchange / no refund policy. I bought it because someone recommended it, hopefully my comment here saves a few unfortunate souls. I have a rubber case for my iPhone 3gs and it is awesome. So, I'll be purchasing a case from Seidio when it comes out for the Touch Pro 2.

I purchased one of the clear cases from nakedcellphone and it is awesome. I then purchased one of their green "rubberized" cases and didn't like it. It was white on inside so all the edges looked white. The fit was fine.

I love seidio cases and cant wait for them either.

I, too, bought this POS when it came out ALSO on a recommendation - I had it on for an hour and then took it off - it was TOUGH to get off too - I mean, it shouldn't be easy, however, I got nervous trying to get this thing off my phone.

Re: Seidio Innocase ETA

I'm thinking of just using a screen protector and the Seidio holster. My last phone, 800w, I had the innocase and holster combo...and loved it. However, other than dropping the phone, I don't see the need for the innocase on this phone.

Anyone else planning on just using the holster without the innocase?

Re: Seidio Innocase ETA

I just don't trust myself not to drop the phone. Right now I am using my old Dell Axim X50v slip case while waiting on the Innocase. To me it is better to use the Zagg screen protector with the Innocase. My last phone stayed in perfect condition like that.

I am so paranoid that I am going to drop it before the case comes out.

Re: Seidio Innocase ETA

Wonder how having the Innocase on the back of the Sprint TP 2 affect the speaker phone conferencing capability?

Re: Seidio Innocase ETA

JUST an UPDATE for those who are interested - I quote Seidio representative:
"The Innocases will not be lined with felt and the reason is we are trying to keep the maximum thickness to 1 mm thick. If we do line it with felt, it will be another 1 mm thick, which some of our customers think is too thick.

Let me know if you have any other questions."

I will be buying and lining mine....

I'd much rather deal with an extra mm thickness, then to see this beautiful phone turn out like my i760 after sitting in a seido case for months on end. Wonder if they would consider offering a felt lined and a non felt lined model. Let us know if you wind up lining it yourself and how it works out. I'd probably consider trying that also if it works well for you!
