Any way to have a Verizon TP2 without a data plan ???

Mad?? Not really.

I had Sprint for two years & absolutely hated it (the service was awful), I couldn't wait to switch back to Verizon (I actually paid an eft to dump Sprint although they eventually credited it back when I went to the BBB). I have no contract with VZ & could switch to Sprint anytime I want, but I won't make that mistake again.

Does VZ cost a little more?? Sure, although I get a corporate discount & the difference in price is something I will gladly pay for the excellent service. I'm sure you've heard the old adage "you get what you pay for". That definitely applies to the age old VZ/Sprint arguement.
