Re: 2000mah spare battery for htc touch pro 2 sprint

been using my phone today. Doesn't seem like it's draining any less than the factory battery.

In any case, this is a secondary battery for 10 bucks!

I do not see a code on the battery that fits the example "EXAMPLE:8888→8888→8888→8888"

It's all in chinese or something........

But honestly, could care less. It's worked great so far. I went out for business for 3 days this week and it was great having a spare with me in my laptop case, which is with me all the time anyway.

Re: 2000mah spare battery for htc touch pro 2 sprint

Have had mine for 4 days now and it works like th OEM battery does. Either the OEM or the 2000 mAh battery both drain pretty fast (MightROM) so I can't honestly say it's THAT much better, however, it does last a little longer. My battery starts draining right after I unplug it with little or no usage on EITHER battery.

As far as checking the code to see if it's authentic, my battery doesn't have anything like that code on it. So, probably NOT authentic. No matter, it's only $10 and works fine. It came with a microSD mini card reader to boot! Ha!

Re: 2000mah spare battery for htc touch pro 2 sprint

I have gone though one full cycle and it seems like it does last longer. (could be the placebo effect though)

Normally I get up at 7 and after a day at work till 6 I come home and have to charge, or at most have only 15-20% of the battery left. After yesterday I had 40% left and it made it though the night without giving me a low battery notification. And if IIRC I used my phone more yesterday than usual. I was one it for I know of 2 hours (one with a companies CS, another with my fiancee at the end of the day)

Mine seems to be on par with the OEM battery too.

Re: 2000mah spare battery for htc touch pro 2 sprint

i know everyone is worried about batteries exploding. I had a battery explode in my pocket over night. I posted the pics on here and they were also posted on engadget. Pretty sure it was because I had it in my back pocket and probably broke it by sitting on it. Just be careful and everything should be ok.
