Re: Touch Pro 2 Bug or just my phone....
get a reg editer and do this
Disable Notification HKLM\Services\NOTIFICATIONMANAGER\Flags. It should be 0 by default - change it to 4. This stops the HTC notification manager running and restores the default WM functionality. |

Re: Touch Pro 2 Bug or just my phone....
Are you on Sprint? It doesn't help that you say "none of your business" on your carrier info. There are many reg hacks that work on one carrier model but not on another, even within the CDMA world, like the "Roaming Only" hack I posted, which works on Sprint, but not Verizon

Re: Touch Pro 2 Bug or just my phone....
well it was never said what it was used for. unlike some people i dont send them to scour 400+ posts. I found ones that work for me and compiled a list.
if one must be nosy I have sprint. though I don't see who's business it is it would be a wonderful world if there were sub forums for carriers then but I dont see that happening. the only way you will find what works is trial and error. and you should compose your own list. |

I'm as Conservative and worried about privacy as anyone, but I don't think this issue of our carrier and model, is going to be an issue with anyone who counts. (They already know, says TheBundo, as he removes the battery from his phone) Last edited by TheBundo; 10-14-2009 at 04:56 AM. |

Edit: Nevermind. I'm just a moron. I used Total Commander to check the registry and it shows the size next to each key and the size of Flags is 4 bytes. The value, however, was 0 and yes, changing it to 4 and resetting did work. Last edited by Solipsist; 11-03-2009 at 07:16 PM. Reason: Idiocy |
