A simple search would have result unlimited internet sharing cabs for WM6.1 and hes asking what to do with a cab. He probably registered today and made his first post. Last edited by tobeychris; 10-13-2009 at 02:34 AM. |

Well... I can gaurantee you that if you are with Sprint and are using it for free, it will not be much longer. I work for their business support and have had plenty of people call in with this exact issue. The charge is 15$ a month for the PAM (Phone as a Modem). Up until about 6 months ago it wasn't an issue and people were getting away with free tethering. But like I said, they have been turning off that if you didn't have the subscription. |

Edit - So I installed the internet sharing fix .cab posted here and now it works. So were you saying TP2's other than Sprint don't have the correct usb pop-up menu? If so that would kind of suck, but either way, HTC makes it perfectly easy to use phone as modem either via usb connection or via wifi. Last edited by xr7kid; 10-12-2009 at 08:38 PM. |

Though I have heard about going over 5GB "may" cause a red flag and that Verizon "may" do something but this "may" be rare? Many ICS programs share your phones data connection and don't do it as phone as a modem. As far as I understand using your phone as a modem is the only thing they can detect other than pure usage. |
