6.5 does improve the scrolling a lot, and for those of you that keep activating stuff you are just not being firm enough. If you are too light then it will think you are making a selection not scrolling. You're used to capacitive screens, these are resistive and are meant to take a little more punishment (also a stylus).

This is my first touch screen phone and to me it feels fine, so maybe it's just being used to a different device that's throwing you off. I hardly ever use the stylus unless I feel like it or if I'm using GoToMyPC or something where it's basically necessary.
