Problem with S2U2 and answering calls

I am having an issue with S2U2 and answering phone calls -- their seems to be an issue that when the phone is asleep, and I receive a phone call S2U2 and the manila dialer are fighting to see which one is going to appear on top.

Since both of them have a slider, when I slide the S2U2 to the right to unlock the phone, the manila dialer goes to ignore the call because they are both interpretting the slide.

I have hard resetted the phone and only had S2U2 running -- I have tried the stock s2u2 and the one provided by Goodthings -- both do the same exact thing.

Can anyone help?
