Problem with S2U2 and answering calls

I am having an issue with S2U2 and answering phone calls -- their seems to be an issue that when the phone is asleep, and I receive a phone call S2U2 and the manila dialer are fighting to see which one is going to appear on top.

Since both of them have a slider, when I slide the S2U2 to the right to unlock the phone, the manila dialer goes to ignore the call because they are both interpretting the slide.

I have hard resetted the phone and only had S2U2 running -- I have tried the stock s2u2 and the one provided by Goodthings -- both do the same exact thing.

Can anyone help?

Latest S2U2 dialer-intercept (aka Caller ID) is pretty buggy on the TP2... turn it off and use the default dialing mechanism.

A_C is aware of the issues and is working on them, but since he doesn't have a TP2, it's taking him some time to properly debug it.

PS-- if you're not sure how to shut off S2U2's dialer-intercept, open the S2U2 Settings applet, tap on Phone, and set "Caller ID" to Off.

Thats definitely off -- I used the one in the package you provided from your Cleanup post ( which is awesome by the way). Its off by default too in the package from the website.

Is noone else seeing this?

If it's off you shouldn't be seeing it. If it doesn't correct itself you'll need to uninstall the program, wipe the AC_S2 registry entries, and reinstall...

Personally, I get a weird "screen tearing" issue from s2u2 when I wake the phone up on it's side. It is like the s2u2 is trying to rotate the image to landscape but it goes all messed up. It is hard to explain unless you see it. I will state this doesn't happen everytime, just sometimes. When it does, it takes a few seconds to fix itself.

i have my set to not have any soft buttons(slider or keys) so i still get the full screen caller id and i just use my hard send/end buttons to answer and end calls...works perfect now
