Re: Screen scratches?

I like mine bare. I don't touch the screen with a stylus & I use a sunglass microfiber bag to carry it around in my pocket. I also use iKlear to keep the screen clean and feeling slick like glass. No scratches at all.

Re: Screen scratches?

Yapp... in 2 weeks I got 2 scratches and a raspberry on the side. Probably cuz I dropped it. lol.
Not used to the corded headphones I used to use the bluetooth S9 HD's with my pro. But the corded ones don't swallow my battery. I got out of my car and the cord got stuck on my mirror and out of my hand flew my TP2. CRASH... SLIDE>>..... scrape. Now I have to use my rebate money to get a new one under warranty as soon as this one has any major problems. Or as soon as I drop it again.

Re: Screen scratches?

FYI, right before the TP2 came out, I broke the screen on my i760. When I called Verizon to try and scam them into replacing it under warranty (didn't work) I learned that they offer a screen replacement option for $50. They sent me a phone (not sure if it was new or refurb), and I sent my old broke one back. It wound up being the same price as an Assurion claim, but it didn't go against my yearly limit.

Re: Screen scratches?

I got 2 tiny scratches on my screen protector caused by the stylus. thank god i had the screen protector on or else those scratches would have been on the screen. I learned my lesson from my mogul which i never protected and got a long scratch on screen from my stylus.

Originally developed for airplane pleiglass, I came across it in the morocycling realm... cleaning hemet visors and all.

Well this stuff is brilliant for cleaning those plastic/rubber screen protectors. Doesn't take out scratches, mind you. But if you've already got a protector on there, it seems to clean them up nice, removes the oily finger and facr prints and leaves a film that seems to resist (for a while) future prints. Also makes it feel real slick, which it nice for those touch/swipe actions. I swear my screen is more responcive for a few days after a wipe down with this stuff.

Obbiously I wouldn't recommend spraying directly onto the device. I spray it into a microfiber cloth then wipe down my screen priotector. Sort of like putting a nice wax finish on a car.

And no, I don't have any affiliation with Plexus... just really like the product.
There is also a product called Novus which is designed to clean and restore plexiglass and plastics. There are three different products under the Novus line: a cleaner (#1), light scratch remover (#2) and a deep scratch remover (#3). I own a cleaning company and have use the #1 & 2 to clean & restore a plexiglass window.

http://www.novuspolish.com/

I am not affiated with Novus in any way. Just sharing my experience with there product.

I used it on my own TP2 before I installed my screen protector.
