Screen scratches?

Anyone get a scratch on their screen yet? I'm not a big fan of getting protectors put on resistive screen, but I have gotten two very very small hairline scratches on the front of my screen. I have no idea how.

Anyone else get a scratch or two yet?

Resistive screens need it because they are made out of plastic & very susceptible to scratching. I can't even tell I have a screen protector on mine anymore.

It could have been scratched through something as simple as putting it in a case that had a tiny piece of dirt in it.

100% agree here too!

@OP: I have not noticed any degradation in screen tapping performance with a protector on.

DON'T use this product; I tried it on my old Q9c phone and it left a bunch of circular rainbows were the scratch was.

Just a little tip re screen protectors...

I have used a product called Plexus:

Originally developed for airplane pleiglass, I came across it in the morocycling realm... cleaning hemet visors and all.

Well this stuff is brilliant for cleaning those plastic/rubber screen protectors. Doesn't take out scratches, mind you. But if you've already got a protector on there, it seems to clean them up nice, removes the oily finger and facr prints and leaves a film that seems to resist (for a while) future prints. Also makes it feel real slick, which it nice for those touch/swipe actions. I swear my screen is more responcive for a few days after a wipe down with this stuff.

Obbiously I wouldn't recommend spraying directly onto the device. I spray it into a microfiber cloth then wipe down my screen priotector. Sort of like putting a nice wax finish on a car.

And no, I don't have any affiliation with Plexus... just really like the product.

A good protector does not take away one bit of sensitivity nor functionality of a screen. Get over your prejudices and get one.
