Re: Screen scratches?
I use phantomskinz (www.phantomskinz.com) to protect my TP2. I used it for my Omnia as well and when I I took the skin off the omnia the device was in mint condition (not one scratch). If you us the code "pre33" they will take 33% off the price. The device is still really responsive with the skin. Attached are some pics

Been using their screen protectors for years on many devices including my Garmin Touchscreen Oregon GPS. Wouldn't be without one. I have, however, orfered a Ghost Armor full device protector. It should come in tomorrow (I hope).

Re: Screen scratches?
Hmmm... not sure about the ghost armor (and others) that go on the back of the phone.
Can't see them going on very well without bubbles or junk with those curved edges and all. Do they have little holes for the camera and speakers and stuff? I can handle the relatively flat screen protector with my limited skills... not so sure about the curved battery door. So, $10-20 for a piece of plastic film for the battery door and end up with a crappy looking phone backside... or $15 for a new battery door through Verizon down the road? Hmmm.... |

Re: Screen scratches?
I have never had a screen protector. I have had a 6700, Mogul, Touch, Diamond, and now TP2. I have never had a sratch on the screen and only an alomost invisible scratch on the body of mt Diamond. But then again, I take meticulous care of my devices. Personally I think a screen protector takes away from the clear beauty of the screen but if I could find one thats virtually invisible I would buy in heartbeat as you are always better safe than sorry later.
