And just as an fyi, sprint is recalling the touch pro1 because it has 2 times as many problems and is exchanged out more than double any phone in sprints history. i know of many many situations where the touch pro has screwed over many many customers costing them jobs, thus costing money. The phone is junk, mine sat on my coffee table for 6 months cause the phone blows. and why wouldnt you get a touch pro 2 for free if sprint if offering it.

Wow... Allot of good points in this thread. I agree with the people who said there was allot of babies in this thread *****ing how they curse and **** in the store.. For that one guy, your an idiot...

The ones who abuse it will cost the others the satisfaction in having their unit replaced with a newer phone but thats life. Everyone's looking for a hand out. That was awesome of Sprint to do that for you guys though considering no other provider is reporting the TP1 to be that bad of a phone.

Are the sprint reps recommended to upgrade a TP1 to a TP2 even if they can fix the problem on the TP1? I'm asking because I just sent in my Tp1 today and it's my first repair ever. They ended up replacing the LCD and a replacement was never mentioned.

And i just order a new Touch Pro 2 and Sprint told nothing about this am gonna reture the phone to them and get my new Touch Pro 2 for Free screw that sprint thinks there slick

anyone around in San Francisco who got his phone replace.
I hate the htc pro frozen sometimes i have to reset it 3 times a day. I went to the store the other day and those idiots they don't know anything they just flash back to the original and they say it will be fine.
what a losers.

This evening, I got handed my FiFTH touch pro replacement. The rep seemed to be really honest and told me the system is reporting 0 TP2s available for exchange. Sucks. Wonder when they will become available again but I just got a new TP so I guess I'm stuck with it

im on my 3rd touch pro in about 4 months. the keyboard keeps going out. 1st 1 the tech tried doing a soft reset and said its fine. i opened the phone right in front of them and pressed a few keys, of course nothing came on screen. said you call this fine? they were quick to order a replacement after that lol. this 1 is starting to do the same thing the other 2 did, keyboard cutting out once in a while. if its like the others it will start to do it more and more till it cuts out for good. trying for a tp2 in the morning before it does

This Blows.
I just Upgraded one of my lines to the TP2. Suposedly got credits coming to bring price down to 199 before mail in rebate.(wmdeal com offer)

My TP1 was just replaced by repair shop few weeks ago.. haven't activated yet cause it keeps reverting back to Intial ROM state wanting to recalibrate screen etc,,done this like 10 times now.. PISSED>>

so my q is since my other lines TP2 is temporarily on the TP line (when it went in for repair/replace i needed a phone and hadn't put the TP2 on the other line yet)
am i going to have problems getting my tp1 changed to a tp2..
i not tryin to srew sprint but i dont want more probs had like 5 TP1's in past 11 months.

I was trying to get them to replace my lcd rather than order a new phone... how are you getting them to actually swap parts...
