Hmmm. Do you remember who text you when you first noticed it wasn't leaving? Instal any cab files when/around the time it started? Running TF3D or Mobile Shell? I'm all out of ideas at the moment, but I'm looking around the web. Any missed alerts/notifications or anything?

When all else fails, call sprint lol.

so there is really no way to completely reset the message counter...? the regedit never works, well it will.. but as soon as i receive a new message it comes back or after I soft reset. i really dont want to have to hard reset for this... im running the tf2d. all this started after receiving a picture while texting... thanks all

Wow I believe that did it. I ran the program and after a soft reset the text was cleared.
