Win 7 64 Ultimate- WMDC not working
Windows Mobile Device Center will not detect my phone. Under the device manager the Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote Adapter has an exclamation point and states "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)"
I have downloaded all the drivers and am looking for any input on resolving this issue. Thanks.

Re: Win 7 64 Ultimate- WMDC not working
You should first download and install WMDC. Once done installing, you can hook up your phone. It should work.

Re: Win 7 64 Ultimate- WMDC not working
Do the following:
1) make sure you have admin access... 2) Go Start menu 3) Type "Services.msc" and hit enter 4) There are 2 services that begin with "Windows Mobile" right click them and restart them, one at a time. 5) Usually, the 1st one, "Windows Mobile-2003-basked device connectivity" has to be killed from the task manager. That should get you back on the right path. |

I actually just disabled the 2003 service all together & it resolved my issue. Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction! |
