Well I guess it was too good to be true. Now running the mort script isnt enough. I have to turn off sense. Reset, then run the script. So frustrating....!

Anyone use Navigon? I'm about to bite the bullet on that one. Hope it's not the same issue.

What rom are you on?

damn 1999TL, you're everywhere....

i have similar problems. i like the program but it's totally annoying me. i started cooking my own roms and i can't get TTS to work in them no matter what i do. it's just stupid and annoying.

Well TTS works on every rom I've tried in the upgrades section except for MightyMike's and Juicy's....and I'll add rwdj63 to the list. LOL

With that said I'm using Mightymike's 1-20 rom cuz everything else works great and I switched to just a regular voice for the time being.

TTS is not working on Mighty. BUT IT WORKS ON NRG.

How do we test if Voice Guidance is working without driving around? When changing the Voice Guidance level in Sound Settings, should it speak a test phrase for us to hear?

No. You go into the settings and try to play the tts voice. If it plays you have tts. It will say something like "Have a nice trip" depending on what voice u are choosing. If you don't hear a voice talking back to you tts is not working

If your TTS is working and you want to hear it say street names, find a POI or address and set it as your destination, then click on Route and then click on the car icon on the bottom right. It will show you on the map exactly as if you were driving and will say street names.

The other car icon with 3 lines behind does the same but faster without voice guidance or TTS.

Yup...If you select the voice with TTS and no voice comes on then no TTS.
