How to get iGo8 run on TP2 with TTS enable and 2009 NA Maps (step by step guide)

I still haven't been able to see this software on my TP2. I have tried everything and have followed the steps on 1st post. What am I doing wrong? I keep getting message: "Program application database cannot be found. Please insert original application SD card." Could someone help me out with this please? I was told to delete the [folder] in SYS....tried but did not work. Thanks.

I believe youre missing the data.zip file.

where exactly does data.zip go. I do have it just maybe not in the right place.

Try removing these lines and adding

[device]
Type="HTC Touch Pro T7272"
app="%SDCARD%/iGO8"

This of course assumes that you put everything in a folder called iGO8 on the root of your storage card.

If your version supports the Touch HD, then don't bother changing that line. It appears to me that iGO can't find the data store because you identified it as sdcard_dsk_num=7

I give up on TTS. My same igo8 configuration had TTS working for the Touch Pro but it doesn't work for the TP2. the only benefit I just got out of my last 2 hours was that I updated my Igo8 version and my maps. I'd still like to find out how to use both Landscape and Portrait.

Also, is anybody have to use their keyboard to type? When I'm searching for POI's, using my hard keyboar gives me an a with a circle over it. This happend on the TP1 and tp2.

same here cant figure out the tts. no memory issues because im running titanium or spb mobile shell. it just starts and stops randomly. keyboard characters on input also giving same screwy letters like stated above.

I knew I wasn't crazy. I had the same Igo8 that was working on my same memory card working on the Touch Pro 1. Now I stick it in the TP2 voice doesn't work. So I read ppl having it work n Stock. Well I'll be damned! It works on Stock Sprint rom.....TTS that is. More testing to come....

yeah im running mighty latest impact. I think his late december was the last one that worked for me with tts on igo.

Ok Igo8 shows up in the stock sprint HTC task manager. I checked when I flashed back to stock earlier. Now who can figure out how to get igo8 to read in the htc task manager on a custom 6.5 rom
