It is my understanding that you should only install one of these cabs right after a hard reset. I don't think you are supposed to install both the cleanup and tweaks cabs at the same time. Install the cleanup cab if you want the extra cleanup that it offers OR install the tweaks cab if you want just the tweaks.

Re: Touch Pro 2 Cleanup
OP your feature number 63
I press "X" at the top right corner in comm manager and it does not close it and it appears in task manager. I would like to know if stock 6.5 rom has task manager built it? If not then is my task manager from this install or is it from CHT(no info on the website about task manager)? EDIT: Instead of double posting: Is it best to install this cleanup with sense UI disabled first? Or is this app made to run normally with it enabled? Also have you noticed that when you boot up the device active sync is running in task manager on everything default (Yes after a hard rest). Is it better to close active sync before installing this or was this app made to work/ run with everything on default with active sync running? Yes active sync runs by default when you boot up the device unless you stop and close it with the built in task manager. I didn't disable SenseUI nor active sync since it wasn't stated in the instruction, so I am guessing that is how it was meant to be done. I have no problems, but just asking if it would have been better (maybe slightly faster or something) or worse or the same? Also is it better to do a hard reset and then a soft reset and then install this? (For some reason after a hard reset there is less RAM available than if you do a soft reset right after doing a hard reset). Or will it not matter and be the same? Is this only depended on what other apps are installed and not what is running (That is why it is recommended to hard reset and remove all programs? What I mean is that what is running wouldn't matter with this and wouldn't affect the way this would perform/install/ work AT ALL and would perform the same, but installed apps would and need to be removed and uninstalled through a hard reset and that is what would make it the best? So only that all apps are uninstalled matters and not what is running which would not matter AT ALL in any way?)? I hope my questions are understandable and answering ALL of them separately and maybe adding more to it(anything I need to know) will be appreciated. Last edited by gera229; 01-27-2011 at 02:10 AM. |
