1. Can anyone suggest a taskbar replacement that works well with the Tweaks cab. I'm using Verizon 6.5 Tweaks. I have tried several of what seem to be the most common taskbar replacements for 6.5 and they all seem to lockup and I end up having to hard reset.

2. I don't seem to have the battery drain issues people are talking about but I have only been playing with it for the last 2 days.

3. When I click on the battery icon in the taskbar it doesn't go to the battery display. Is this normal?

4. Is Start menu supposed to have 4 icons across? Mine only has 3.

GT2L, I removed the BATTCLOCK app and my battery seems better now, will check again this evening.

Where do I see the 1% battery info outside of nuebattery app?
- Currently I don't see it on the top bar or in the battery info app that came with the OS.

Since I took out the battclock.. I don't have a way to see the percentage left/used.

I also don't see the battery percentage anywhere. Perhaps it could be a Verizon issue...

Can anyone answer this question about Internet Sharing or perhaps just give a short step by step on what to do to connect using USB and a method that avoids detection? I actually won't need tethering much, just occasionally when travelling...

1. I have installed the clean-up so I assume I'm good to go with Internet Sharing. When I click on internet sharing, I choose USB connection, then am taken to a screen Network Log On. It asks for User Name, Password, Domain. Do we set these up new? Are these the ones used when we go to Sprint website? Will tethering through this method avoid detection? I actually had something set up on 6.1 and it worked fine, but it's been so long since I used it, I can't remember how I set up anymore....

Update: Okay, I entered my Sprint phone number and password and got past that network log on screen. Went to Internet Sharing again and was able to establish a connection using USB. Now I guess my only question is whether this connection is visible to Sprint or is there some other way I am supposed to be doing this...

hey GoodThings2Life i was wondering if you had made and update in the sprint Cleanup file because if i remember correctly the original size of the file was 417kb and the current file is 416kb. can you post what's new in the new file... also can you post what the cleanup file includes that the tweaks file does not? why sprint has a cleanup and tweaks files while other carriers have tweaks file only.. thank you in advance...

GT2L, I changed the settings back in bluetooth, so that it rings and audio to the regular speaker rather than bluetooth (bluetooth setting - audio routing) but the ringer still rings in the bluetooth after a few seconds.

How do I change that back to normal?

I haven't seen this issue. If you changed it back to the standard behavior, I'm really not sure what to suggest. If you're OK, you might try a hard reset, install the tweaks again with nothing else to test it... then add your apps back one at a time until the issue is reproduced.

Never used SmartLock, but "lock device" is DHR's utility, which is very very lightweight and triggers the lock at standby/wakeup.

Unfortunately the reports I've read are that it's a bug in the firmware. That, and well, I like the feature, so I wouldn't disable it anyway.

The tweaks are always cumulative, so in theory, they can always be uninstalled/installed again, etc. The Cleanup REQUIRES a hard reset, ALWAYS. Contrary to the original post, I haven't done enough testing yet to know whether I'll be able to hold up to the just install tweaks to update the cleanup. We'll see.

1. Any time I've had issues with my data connections, I just use the "Update Profile" and "Update PRL" options in control panel.

Just an FYI. I did the upgrade to WM6.5 on the 20th, which went fine. A friend sent me the link to this thread. I downloaded the Sprint wm6.5 tweaks cab and installed it to the device. Everything seemed fine but it did break the built in Weather App (would not retrieve current temp or refresh the forecast) I uninstalled the tweaks app and all came back.

This is probably due more to other tweaks you've done.

No Verizon update planned unless people start confirming some bugs beyond just sporadic battery life concerns.

I think it's a bug in the Verizon bluetooth stack, but I don't use Verizon or Bluetooth, so I don't have a good way to confirm.

Does this mean there is a manual solution? If so, any chance of being pointed towards it? Even something I must do after each install, or every so often would be sufficient...

Sorry all, but I've had an exhausting day, and I want to take another day to test this release. I'm having what seems like a nasty memory leak, and I'm trying to see if it's caused by my tweaks or an inherent problem in the ROM.

Noticed the leak as well on the TMo version because you have always 60-70% of memory used. The current 6.1. leaves me with all my programs at about 49% used.
