Sprint TP2 is constantly rebooting

These last few days I have noticed that my Sprint TP2 is rebooting several times daily. I have the phone simply lying on my desk and it reboots so it isn't like I am hitting any buttons on the phone that could cause it to happen.

Is this happening to anyone else?

What could be causing it to happen?

My Pro2 was doing this right from the start I did a hard reset and all was well. If not I'll try to run through some more trouble shooting with ya.

I would hate to do a hard reset after installing my email accounts and a few programs. Is there anything in the settings that might be the culprit?

I doubt in the settings but if you have installed a cab that might do it. Wanna give me the list of anything you have installed?

I have only installed a few programs so far.
Windows Live Search
Weather Bug
Microsoft's My Phone
SPB Backup
Total Commander
Google Maps
Some wallpapers

If I do a hard reset and then reinstall everything using my SPB Backup it might cause the bug again that is causing this rebooting issue.

if you (yes you specifically not the rep) have not done a hard-reset, that's the problem. spontaneous reboots are hardware or rom related.

when you restore a backup only restore your contacts and mail settings. (I don't use spb so I can't give specifics)

I confirmed this but the OP doesn't want to hard reset. That is your best option here though. non of your cabs would do that.

So if I use SPB backup after doing the hard reset you think that will be ok? Is it the official Sprint ROM that is causing the issue?

it's not the rom, just how the rom was loaded into memory. a hard-reset will re-write this data. there are many times when an extra hard-reset after a flash will clear up issues.
