Is there a way to get the $349 price while still in-contract?

So I have called Sprint twice to ask about purchasing the TP2, and both times they have said it's $599 with a $75 discount. I ask about the $449 price with the $100 MIR, and keep hearing I'm not eligible for that until my contract is up (March 2010). I remember under Verizon, I was always able to get the new activation price on a phone as long as I was willing to re-up the contract at the same time (I'd be willing to do this with Sprint as well).

Anyone know if it's possible to talk them into giving me the $349 price while still in-contract, or is it set in stone and I'm SOL until next year? I finally had the chance to handle a TP2 in person and it's amazing...not sure I can wait that long!

Yes. Sprint offers the full upgrade price after you've been in contract for one year.

I'm definitely past the 1-year mark (on a 2-yr) so I'll try mentioning that on the next call. Thanks transcend.

That's only for the primary line on SPRINT PREMIER customer accounts. Everyone else has to wait 22 months. Always been that way.
