Verizon starting to piss me off.

I don't remember things being this bad with my titan, but it is always "jumping" back and forth between towers. and it will go from 3 bars to zero bars, it wouldn't be aggravating, but I pay for "Evo" service WHERE AVAILIBLE, so give it too me, geez. I don't care about roaming that isn't my problem, it is your verizon, no stop it. Sorry this is just a rant, but it really pissed me off, I was trying to watch the CFB game tonight and it kept doing this, which would cause the picture to come and go.

Try setting your network mode to CDMA only, rather than Global. Also set your roaming mode to verizon only.

I have it set to CDMA only, but I haven't tried the verizon only thing yet. I'll do that a get back to you with the results. My house is horrible for this, and in general it seems to be happening to me more lately. Thanks.

It's because Verizon gives priority to those of us on Sprint who need to Roam on your network, so we end up bumping you off of your own network. It's all about the bottom line.........

so sprint can roam on vzw but vzw cant roam on sprint?

I've noticed I get a much poorer signal on the TP2 than I did with my MotoQ. I can't even use the phone in my office anymore, I used to be able to talk fine with the Q.

Yeah I've got a BB Storm on my desk w/ 3 bars and the TP2 sitting next to it is bouncing between 0 bars and no signal....the TP2 radio firmware is broken or the phone has a terrible antenna in it.

Sprint customers aren't knocking you off the network. If you are a Verizon customer, you get priority over a roaming Sprint customer. The same would be true if you roamed on Sprint's network, Sprint customers would have priority. Yes Verizon (as did Alltel) has roaming agreements with Sprint, that's no secret, Verizon does this to ensure you have the best coverage possible even when it might not be their network. As they further integrate in the Alltel towers and merge the technology you will find you are roaming less and less.

Interesting- I was actually going to ask about this, as i was noticing the very same thing (much worse reception/signal with my TP2 compared to other Verizon phones I have access to). I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's going to be a firmware fix and not weak hardware....

Okay, so it isn't just me with the signal seeming less with the TP2 than other phones (for me Treo 700wx). So far, it hasn't been an issue as I haven't dropped a call yet.
