DON'T sand the middle. It is carbon fiber. there is 2 layers, the top layer has the map and the bottom layer is black. There is no way to sand the map off without screwing up the layers.
wow sounds like this is a lot easier then putting int a pot of boiling water

when i get ahold of some battery covers ill have to try this out. thanks!

look what i got






Friend did it for me though lol.
He used 340ish, 1000, then 2000 wetsand then PlastiX to make it shine
the other one was just a starter test, was cracked so i just figured beter use that one to try it first.

Bumping this again, just a question. Is the Sprint and Verzion battry cover interchangable? I have Verizon, and odd as it may seem I like the Sprint cover.

i dont think so. they fit but not tight like the OEM cover for your phone would.

Other people have said they do. I will want a Verizon one for my Sprint phone so I can dye it red. I don't know how well the Sprint ones will dye red, so I'd rather try a the Verizon because it's lighter to begin with. If you want to exchange a Verizon for a Sprint, let me know.
