That cover looks awesome (that is by far the best looking cover I have seen yet). I have two spare covers for mine & that is exactly what I was going to try on one of them.....

wow that looks awesome. i cant wait to try this. will look exactly like an upgraded phone then. did you do the tip of the stylus also? and did your volume rocker turn a different color?

no 3rd party ones have popped up from china yet? did they ever for other devices like the original TP?

I did dye the tip of the stylus, it came purple/black, it didn't match the cover. Still working on something for that. The volume rocker never took color, but it never turned bronze.

Virtually any color even pink! :D

Just gave this a try and it turned out great. I held the end of the stylus in the dye for a good ten minutes as well. It didn't get quite as dark as the battery cover, but it actually turned out pretty well. Thanks for all of the tips and info from everyone!

I used Rit Dye on the cover. I painted the map area, no marker.
