i wonder if anyone has attempted or plans to do the sprint cover...i imagine you would have to take the orange sticker off...does anyone know where to get an extra sprint battery cover? im curious to see what it will look like, in the mean time i guess i'll wait for the verizon one to come in the mail

Get the Verizon cover. It's cheap and definitely beats the studded Sptint look. This thing is a dust magnet.

NM on the polish, I found some apple sause scratch remover laying around and it worked perfectly.

I used a paint for plastic/rubber. I used this before with excellent results.
