Then it really didn't work heh??? You should be able to turn your volume down halfway on a call and have it very loud already. Get in a noiser environment ie. sirens sounding, and have plenty left to turn up. It should take your head off. My flip phones I had in the past would do that. Rugged Sanyo, Motorola. I really like the TP2 for all the capabilities for my line of work (paramedic) Has great calculators, calendars etc, not to mention the eMedic program I have on my phone. Try doing all that with some ruggedized flip phones! Doens't compare! In call volume, urrggghhh!!! Guess I will have to just text my patient reports into the hospital! haha

Got it working! Thought I was going to have to hard reset but I found out I had some reg. edits I tweaked for InCall areas a couple of months ago I forgot to set back to original. For this reason I guess, copying the zip files and doing the cabs it was not allowing them to go through and work! Odd!!! Maybe my phone does have some issues then. Well, I tried the 2 zip audiopara file in badboys original post and it works like a charm! Much louder now but slightly distorted on full blast. I can live with that though. Now I can turn it down to half way (which is about normal highest volume before) and can boost it up when I need to. Folks, if this doesn't work for you, check your registry. Maybe it was tweaked and forgot like me and your phone is not allowing any new changes to process! Thanks badboy! You saved me from going back to the old flip phone!

Okay, what's the consensus? Use the registry edits, or one of the files from the first post? I'm mostly interested in higher bluetooth volume because I work in a noisy environment, but louder ring tone would be nice as well.

ive tried both on htc touch pro 2 at 6.5 and previous on sprint and no difference on either one. this is blue tooth to audi s5. it is terrible volume. i can't use BT when i drive about 50 mph b/c it is way too quiet.

I have a question and HOPE someone can help me out [-o<

Anyways i've had the Audiopara2 boost installed and all is well, at least until i tried to use a set of 3.5mm headphones to listen to mp3's and i had NO sound. In fact i had no sound at all of any kind after i tried to listen to music with my headphones. So i did a soft reset and uninstalled the audio boost and again soft reset and then all was great and working fine. To test, i installed the audiopara boost file again and tried listening to my music and again had NO sound. So it seems i can either have the boost installed and have my phone earpiece and speaker volume working but no music, OR i can have it uninstalled and listen to my music and have LOW earpiece volume etc.

Why is this and can it be fixed so i can have both?

My condolences. I have also had no luck with these changes since I think the file lives in ROM and gets replaced with every reboot.

I think this should fix that problem. Check the file date to verify that the file is being replaced.

Hey guys I used the boost cab from the original post , but since I updated to 6.5 stock rom ...the volume is low.

How can I get my volume to the highest with the cabs. Do I need to install in a special folder or do i just install to device and restart the phone?

Please help. Thanks a bunch!!!
