Been there done that for hours on end. Some files messed up the phone so as to the point it would not make or receive calls. Reverted back to before each time and phone works just like normal. Just going to face facts the earpiece volume increase does not work for me. I don't care about a speakerphone volume increase, it's loud enough. I would care about it I suppose if it was included in with an earpiece volume increase as well. But again, don't believe this will work for me. I need someone with a whole different approach to solve this apparently. Something I haven't tried. Thanks for the help guys.

Okay, what's the consensus? Use the registry edits, or one of the files from the first post? I'm mostly interested in higher bluetooth volume because I work in a noisy environment, but louder ring tone would be nice as well.

ive tried both on htc touch pro 2 at 6.5 and previous on sprint and no difference on either one. this is blue tooth to audi s5. it is terrible volume. i can't use BT when i drive about 50 mph b/c it is way too quiet.

I have a question and HOPE someone can help me out [-o<

Anyways i've had the Audiopara2 boost installed and all is well, at least until i tried to use a set of 3.5mm headphones to listen to mp3's and i had NO sound. In fact i had no sound at all of any kind after i tried to listen to music with my headphones. So i did a soft reset and uninstalled the audio boost and again soft reset and then all was great and working fine. To test, i installed the audiopara boost file again and tried listening to my music and again had NO sound. So it seems i can either have the boost installed and have my phone earpiece and speaker volume working but no music, OR i can have it uninstalled and listen to my music and have LOW earpiece volume etc.

Why is this and can it be fixed so i can have both?

My condolences. I have also had no luck with these changes since I think the file lives in ROM and gets replaced with every reboot.

I think this should fix that problem. Check the file date to verify that the file is being replaced.

any answer as to why this boost makes it so headphones don't work? see my post above for more info. This is driving me nuts that i can't have this audio boost installed and still be able to use headphones.
