Re: Timed Phone Profiles

I have issues with SPB Phone Suite and SPB Mobile Shell 3.5. You'd think SPB would have worked out any major bugs between the two, but I get hard button lockups with Phone Suite installed. Just tried G-Profiles and the functionality is great, but it drains my battery unbelievably fast. Still looking for a better solution.

I agree on the G-Profile battery drain.

I ran G-Profile on my 6700 and if I wasn't careful with the profiles (settings and such) I could drain the battery in a matter of a few hrs.

I ran it on TP2 for a bout a week.
Didn't think I had too many items on the profiles (did different things from 5am to 7am, then 7am to 5pm; Work, then 5pm to 10pm, then 10pm to 5am).

I guess that many changes to data connectivity/volume and such just drained the battery too fast for my liking.

The software nice and such but can't afford the big battery drain I was seeing.

I still use G-Alarm (not free) but its the best alarm I have used yet.

SOMETHING weird is going on with the battery drain. I don't know what it is, but I know on my TP2, G-Profile doesn't noticeably drain the battery and I'm very happy with it.

On the other hand S2U2, for me is a battery killer. 5 hours of standby and the battery is dead. For others S2U2 is fine.
