Timed Phone Profiles

I've searched the forum, but can't find an answer.

Has anyone been successful at getting a program to automatically change phone profiles at specific times?

I want the phone to go silent at night, vibrate during office hours and ring normal the rest of the time.

I've tried Autoflight and PhotocontactsPRO5, both of which fail in the same manner. At night, the profile goes to silent. As I fall asleep, so does the phone. When I wake up, the phone stays asleep and remains in silent mode until I push some buttons to wake it up. By then, it might be quite late.

The same thing happens with the calendar alarms, so I can't use the phone as an alarm clock.

I've already turned off the automatic synchronization under the phone cdma services page.

It seems like I need to keep the clock alive in the background. I'm OK if it drains the battery a bit as I usually keep it on the charger at night.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

SPB Phone Suite. I've been using it for some time. It's great.

Thanks. I'm not sure, but I'm thinking there is some setting in the clock or the phone that needs to be changed otherwise I'm afraid the spb software will fail the same way the others did.

I second that. It will adjust based on time of day, or calendar status.

Re: Timed Phone Profiles

I second spb phone suite. Tried the equiv from sbsh but phone suite had a little more features.
works well on my verizon touch pro 2. Still waiting for hard spl so I can custom flash my new phone though.

Re: Timed Phone Profiles

I use g-profile. You can see all the screenshots at:
http://www.ageye.de/index.php?s=gprofile/about
It works well I have the Verizon TP2.

With G-Profile you can define unlimited profiles which manage the state of your device (e.g volume, ringtones, WiFi, Bluetooth, phone radio, 3G, ...).
You can set wether a profile should be only activated manually, at a certain time, when an appointment in your Pocket Outlook calendar occurs, when you connect your device to AC power / a headset / a handsfree or via ActiveSync (Windows Mobile device center) to a computer, when a specified program is launched or you your phone is connected to a specific cell tower.

Enjoy
JOE

Re: Timed Phone Profiles

which is best ? g-profile or spb-phone ? (no matter the price)

the g-profile functionnalities are awsome :

set automatically the enable/disable of wifi/bluetooth/sound....

it will optimise both time and battery life

what's your opinion ?

Re: Timed Phone Profiles

G-Profile looks like a winner. It's worked so far, and gone past the point where the other programs failed.
And you can't beat the price.................
