nope i dont have this issue im on the wiforum so i cant do the poll but i have the verizon tp2! also havent found any reason to even use the tilt function! im even losing the use of a hardware keyboard so i might switch when the diamond2 comes out! seems keyboardless = faster device!

Re: When tilted, does your TP2 screen "wobble"?
verizon tp2 with slight wobble. no bother as most have mentioned. never really tilt it to be honest, i only open it to use the keyboard for typing, then close her back up.

Re: When tilted, does your TP2 screen "wobble"?
I think this wobble is mostly an unavoidable by-product of a design that allows infinite tilt angles. The alternatives would be click stops at fixed angles, or making the tilt hinge mechanism so stiff that it would be very hard to move.

The wobble at other tilt angles is the result of the "infinite tilt angles" design. The alternatives would be fixed tilt positions (more click stops) or making the hinge so tight that it would be a pain to adjust it. I think they made the right design choice. (Edit: I didn't intend to post essentially the same thing twice....thought the first post got lost.) Last edited by Bigsmith; 10-20-2009 at 03:56 PM. |
