Re: Is this the "oil slick"?

the oil slick from the tp1 occurred when too much pressure was applied to the screen... i am guessing this can apply to the tp2 too! just be careful with the screen...

You rang? First of all.. the Oil slick is not from applying pressure. Or heat or anything of that matter. What it is is the true fact that the LCD screen is cheap, or rather i say low quality. This is the 2nd thread I have read of the Oily screen on a Pro 2. Its only been what? 3 weeks its been out? And if I remember correctly... on Pro1, the oily effect came after of 1 or 2 months use. I baby cared my new Pro1 replacem, ent and suddenly I had the oily slick. I was so angry! Specially angry after I was told by the Sprint CS agent that it was my fault! CAn you believe that!? My fault for a cheap screen? I truly think HTC went super cheap on the quality of the Pro2 screen/ Like it or not.. its a FACT! 1 out of 3 Pro has stuck or dead pixelsa. Now they are popping up oily effects! Whats next? The dread3ed white spots like the Mogul?

TWO POSTS!!!! CALL THE PRESSES, WE HAVE AN EPIDEMIC!!!!!!!!!! You are a cancer of this forum. I feel sorry for anyone unfortunate enough to know you.

EDIT: I apologize to everyone else for the direct attack. I dont like stooping down to guttural attacks but im not going to remove the post. I said it so it is there and im sure the mods will remove it later.

I spent the last six hours on this forum with my sick child sleeping next to me and I had a lot of fun tweaking and watching this community function. People coming together to fix problems and allow others to better ENJOY their devices. Then this worthless troll shows up and spews his vile. There will always be issues with EVERY device that comes out but showing up on a forum for a device that you dont even own to pick out every single issue and use it as a talking point to bash the hell out of the device and bring down the morale of the entire community is sick, pathetic, sad and simply has no place here. The mods need to step up and remove hate and they need to do it now. We are banding together to report every single nasty post this guy creates. There are 12 of us so for and I urge the community to show their solidarity and join us in taking out this trash. I am also considering creating a petition. Please PM me for details.

Op, if you press it and it moves then its the oil slick problem. If it stays in the same spot.. then you have another anomaly that we have all not seen before.
