Re: Sprints matches Big reds TP2 price!
I called my Cousin in New york who works at the call center there and he said as he was leaving work they were told it is for corperate and that many rep's are getting in a little hot water for giving too many.So that is why some will and some won't i guess cause if they gave a few already they have to stop. You need a rep that has not given many away but as he said how could they keep the touch pro at the price it is and drop the pro 2 below it?
Check the website out tomorrow but not going to happen and we got 30 plus pages of a false rumor LOL. |

Re: Sprints matches Big reds TP2 price!
the guy i spoke with told me NOTHING about it being for corporate only... i think he would have mentioned it.
could be true tho, maybe he didnt read the email right... he did say that on the 1st the lower price would take affect... so i dont know... i know a lot of us have gotten the credit, so in the end i think this is not bad.

Re: Sprints matches Big reds TP2 price!
I just got off the phone with Sprint and got them to match the verizon price $199.99 without having to do a mail in rebate, of course though it has taken 3 days of phone calls since monday and about 15 reps and managers about about 4 hours on the phone to finally get it.
I also got 2 Rumor 2's. had 3 phones all out of contract so I had a little pull and they where a little more willing to play ball once I let them know I took a trip down to the verizon store and they where going to give me a better deal. Ya sucks that I am going to be in another 2 year contract but if I changed carriers it would have happened anyways. |

Re: Sprints matches Big reds TP2 price!
Sadly, VERY sadly, it is going to be corp liable only. Which completely sucks. Sprint was, in their own words , offering it "reactively" (which means only to corp people who threatened to cancel) since the 21st, and after the 1st they'll be able to offer it normally. I would guess people have been getting it because most reps aren't bright enough to read the "for corporate liable accounts" part in their own documents.
That being said, Sprint is still rock stupid. They're only doing this because of Verizon's price, obviously, but uh, HELLO? WAKE UP? Verizon offers that price to ALL customers, not just to the corp accounts. Sprint once again swings and misses. I find it completely, utterly, STUPID for them to try to get it right and yet get it so, so wrong. And before everyone shouts "but wait! your contract is cheaper in 2 years blah blah blah", I'm not denying that. But see, this is America, where people want it cheap, and they want it NOW (proof - see: bestbuy removing rebates, and, america stepping over a dollar to pick up a dime). Sprint's ailing and struggling, and they just aren't winning anyone's love by charging almost double for this phone. This could have been a great chance for them to create loyalty, intice new customers, and use the momentum that this rumor had created on dozens of websites to make the masses cheer. Instead, they flipped "non corporate" people (who already get discounts on their service) the finger, thus FURTHER pissing off potential customers. Good job, Sprint. /slowclap |

Re: Sprints matches Big reds TP2 price!
well maybe its for corporate only
my account is a reg account.. im premier tho, not sure if that has anything to do with it. maybe the guy didnt read right. couldnt tell you since i didnt see the email. Sprint should lower the price for EVERYONE! so i hope this happens but i wouldnt give up people.. in the end they want your $$$ so if you fight for it you can get it... of course you have to be out of a contract etc. if your locked in for the 2 years you will be screwed |
