Re: which touch pro 2 is the best
Verizon = best
Many users on here complaining of low audio output on Sprint, yet to see one for Verizon, this is a problem I've seen with several sprint versions of phones compared to Verizon. The Verizon version is borderline too loud. The Verizon version is much better looking. A black keyboard is a smarter design choice as it will stay looking nicer longer. The sprint battery cover is just plain ugly. Do a side by side in person if possible. Any version without a 3.5 mm jack to me isn't worth comparing.

The majority of them are Sprint users. There are more threads then this on the subject too Think twice before you call someone out especially when you're not well versed in a topic! Another example: Take two brand new / like new Titan's, one for Sprint (The Mogul) and the other for Verizon (xv6800) - call the same number, turn the volume to max, and see which one is clearer / louder. There may not be a hardware difference causing it, but there is at least a network difference. Just because they are both CDMA and can use each others towers does not mean that the implementation OF that network is the same. Around here Sprint users often have very poor to no signal at all in areas where Verizon is full strength. If they were identical hardware and networks and coverage this would not be the case. Yes, I have a bias, but it's for reasons like this! That doesn't make my opinion any less valid when it's based on fact. |

I made the mistake of switching to Sprint once because somebody told me "you get the exact same service as Verizon for 1/2 the price" Yea right. I had more dropped calls in the first week on Sprint than I have had in 10 years on Verizon (I actually can't remember the last time I had a dropped call on VZ) I hated Sprint & ending up paying an ETF so I could go back to VZ. ~John |

Re: which touch pro 2 is the best
I like the look of the Verizon best. Other than that the differences are minor. And I don't get any echo on my phone (also in Los Angeles area like the guy on PcketNow.com). I haven't tried TomTom but Google Maps locked on really fast (indoors, too). Maybe they weren't using the aGPS?
