Re: Boxwave announces the release of their screen protectors for the Sprint TP2!

If I were to take a poll I would predict in advance that the Boxwave protectors would win in a landslide for ease of application and also functionality. My Crystal protector was super smooth with only two small air bubbles that quickly disappeared when I installed it.

I also like the fact that Boxwave includes a lint free cloth and a applicator card in every package.

Finally the deciding factor for anyone in the market for a screen protector is that you don't have to use the water method of application as described in this board's sticky thread for Boxwave protectors!!!

I have always used the Anti-Glares since I use my phone out in the field quite a bit and having the sun wash out the screen is very annoying. I do agree that you gain some "roughness" on the touchscreen and lose a tiny bit of brightness, but I think the trade-off is worth it.

Re: Boxwave announces the release of their screen protectors for the Sprint TP2!

For those of you that ordered the Boxwave screen protectors for a CDMA phone and received instead the GSM protector with the hole in the upper right hand corner I have good news for you. Boxwave will replace those protectors in about 2 weeks. This is the email I received from their customer service department last night.

Dear NYC Guy,

Thank you for your email!

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems with your order.

We realized that this cut-out may not be necessary for your specific variation of Touch Pro2 so a re-designed version WITHOUT the camera cut-out will be available in the next two weeks.

You will receive a FREE gift of the re-designed ClearTouch for the Touch Pro2 as soon as they are available. You are free to keep the first ClearTouch on your screen until the second one arrives. No returns required.

*If you placed an order for a 3-pack ClearTouch, you will receive a 3-pack re-designed gift order.

Would you be interested in this GIFT order? Otherwise, I would be happy to assist you in a refund of the existing screen protectors.

Thank you and please let me know if you have any questions!

Best Regards,
BoxWave Customer Service

Once again I must say for the record that Boxwave is one of the best sources for accessories for your phone based on the manner they react to their customers.

Re: Boxwave announces the release of their screen protectors for the Sprint TP2!

Thanks for posting that! I got a three pack for my coworkers, hopefully they'll offer me the same thing!!! That's great!

Enjoying my anti-glare a lot on this phone as I expected since I did on my other devices - though the screen distortion on whites is more noticeable on a phone like this with such a high res screen. i'm sure i'll get used to it soon. Also they tend to wear in slightly I've noticed as you get some "face oil" on the screen and use your finger on it a lot, which makes them a bit more clear with time. Either way, the finger response and stylus response is so much better now that the screen isn't "sticky" at all due to screen drag.

Is this much better than the one comes with the phone? Why is it so expensive?

This screen protector is a lot less prone to scratches that occur from normal use and stylus use and it has anti-glare which makes it easier to see the screen when in the sunlight or in a bright room.

i am very happy with this protector but i received the one with a camera hole so i just emailed them about that. hopefully they will send me a replacement like in the post a couple above.

$12 is not expensive for what it is, and the amount of protection it affords the phone. Yes, it's the best screen protector around IMHO, do a search if you want more reviews. Seriously, this information is covered in dozens of threads.

Re: Boxwave announces the release of their screen protectors for the Sprint TP2!

I think the Brandos rival the Boxwave anti-glare as well. Although, Boxwave includes more goodies such as a cleaning cloth. I have a Brando on mine now and it is very comparable to the Boxwave AG I had on my 755p in terms of protection and feel.

The one that comes with the Sprint TP2 is in my opinion just ok. The Boxwave protectors are really in a class by themselves. I am currently using the Boxwave Crystal protector that is totally clear and does show fingerprints and smudges as more than 70% of my emailing & texting is done indoors while at my appointments and glare from the sun does not affect the screen.

In addition, the application of the Boxwave protectors is the easiest and does NOT require the water method as described in this forum's sticky thread! Therefore you totally avoid any risk of having water come in contact with one of the TP2's water indicators that will void the warranty!!!

Make sure that you email their customer service department to receive the correct model as they are not doing this automatically to everyone that ordered the GSM protectors that had the hole. I am sure that not everyone is as critical as the posters on PPCGeeks when it comes to an issue like this.
