Re: Boxwave announces the release of their screen protectors for the Sprint TP2!

Maybe I am a nOOb when it comes to buying screen protectors since I always use the stock ones with no problems but isn't $12.95 kind of high for just one that I may f'up when putting it on? $28 for three? Sheesh

I'm not familiar with these so which choice is "better" for the average person? Anti-glare or Crystal?

Re: Boxwave announces the release of their screen protectors for the Sprint TP2!

I would suggest crystal over anti glare... the anti glare is a little foggy while the crystal is completely clear.

Since these are nowhere near as durable as the Zagg's does anybody know how long these would last on our TP2's?

I had one on my palm, but that screen is semi protected so it never really got scratched.. it seems like this one is going to get a hell of a lot more exposure.

Also, I put on the stock one that came with my Sprint version.

I must say it's fantastic. I just haven't had a chance to test how durable it is, but for now I don't care when the Boxwave comes out, I'll just use this one until it wears out. I can't believe Verizon didn't include one of these.. ridiculous.

I always use the crystal clear. Yes, you can see the fingerprint and oil on it.

The anti glare is a little foggy and great if you dont want to see finger print on it.

I got maybe 16 months out of a Boxwave on my Mogul.

Did you use the water method to put the Boxwave protectors on? Their site makes no mention of it and simply tells you to apply it to the screen.

Isn't the screen on the Mogul slightly inset so the edges of the screen protector aren't constantly rubbing against items such as a carrying case? On the TP2 the edge of the screen is level with the phone's outer shell and will constantly come in contact with my carrying case whenever I either put it in or take it out. In fact this is what happened in less than 1 week to the protector that came with my Sprint TP2. The bottom edges of the Sprint protector started to peel off.

In the past Boxwave has used the same photo image on their site for both GSM & CDMA versions of the same phone. If you are worried that you will receive a GSM screen protector with the hole in front or a case missing a hole on the bottom for the 3.5mm audio jack all you have to do is email their customer service dept. and ask the question.
